Today, everyone knows that sugar is not healthy, especially in excess. But, it’s hard to avoid. Some of us take one bite of sugar and the cravings grow, never letting us achieve satisfaction. I say, “us” because that includes me and many others I know.
It’s like a cigarette smoker who is “a puff away from a pack a day” or the alcoholic who takes that first sip of whiskey and falls off the wagon. A sugar-holic or carb-a-hol may have one cookie, cupcake or bowl of ice cream and cause an avalanche of cravings that don’t stop until the body reacts cruelly.
